FreeCraft Pocket Edition is an addicting sandbox game that doesn’t do anything particularly revolutionary but it’s still worth giving a shot to because it delivers everything that one would expect from a high quality sandbox game. This is game that you should definitely try out if you’re looking for a straightforward sandbox game that doesn’t cease to impress.
FreeCraft Pocket Edition is quite solid overall but one thing that we don’t really like about it is the fact that it doesn’t really teach newcomers any of the basics. Due to this, you’ll have to figure out the basics of the game on your own and this can be a bit of a problem if you haven’t had prior experience with sandbox games. Thankfully, since there aren’t any complex mechanics in the game, you’ll be able to figure out most of its basics by yourself as long as you keep playing.
The gameplay of FreeCraft Pocket Edition delivers all the features that define sandbox games. The game allows players to do pretty much anything they want to and it gives them the tools they need to do so. If you’re a fan of exploration then there are multiple different game worlds that you can explore, if you enjoy crafting items then there are tons upon tons of resources that you can utilize to make powerful items, if you enjoy slaying beasts then the game world is teeming with many different mobs for you to take down and, finally, if you enjoy building many massive structures, there are multitudes of blocks that you can use to do so.
Much like most other sandbox games of today, FreeCraft Pocket Edition comes with two different game modes. The first is the creative mode that lifts all the restrictions from the players and allows them to use as many resources as they need to in order to utilize their creativity and put together something spectacular. Second is the survival mode in which you’ll be given the task of surviving against all odds for as long as you can. The survival mode is quite challenging because pretty much everything will be out to get you and this is why we only recommend getting into it when you’ve gotten adept at playing the game.
FreeCraft Pocket Edition is a delight to play but it seems to lack a bit of finesse when it comes to visuals. The voxel based art style is great but there’s a bit of noise in some textures and this takes away quite a bit from the game’s appeal. However, other than the minor noise issues, the game is a delight to look at.
The game is free to play so you’ll be able to download it and then play for as long as you want to without any restrictions.
FreeCraft Pocket Edition is an engaging sandbox game that’ll have you hooked for hours upon hours.
